Die Landwirtschaft ist im Umbruch und steht vor grossen Herausforderungen. Einerseits sind die Anforderungen an die Produktqualität, den Ressourceneinsatz und an den Umweltschutz massiv gestiegen. Dies bei sinkenden Produktpreisen. Andererseits finden immer wieder neue Schädlinge und Krankheiten den Weg in die Schweiz, welche den Einsatz von Pflanzenschutzmittel erfordern und dadurch hohe Kosten verursachen. Zudem fordert der Klimawandel ein Umdenken in der Landbewirtschaftung. Die Digitalisierung verspricht viele Lösungsansätze und Innovationen, um beispielsweise Pflanzenschutzmittel gezielter einzusetzen. Doch auch weitere Themenschwerpunkte drängen sich auf, wie beispielsweise der Kampf gegen steigende Produktionskosten, besseres Kostenbewusstsein, Marketing im Zeitalter von Social Media sowie die Nutzung der Blockchain-Technologie.
Zum zweiten Mal werden Hackdays für den Wirtschaftsbereich Landwirtschaft im Kanton Aargau organisiert. An den Aargauer Open Farming Hackdays sollen anhand offener Landwirtschaftsdaten (Open Farming Data) kreative Ideen und Prototypen entwickelt werden, um die vom Bund angestrebte ökologische Intensivierung der Landwirtschaft zu unterstützen. Die Produzentinnen und Produzenten sollen in Zukunft datenbasierte Applikationen und Tools erhalten, mit denen sie effizienter und nachhaltiger wirtschaften können.

Die Open Farming Hackdays finden am Landwirtschaftlichen Zentrum Liebegg in Gränichen statt. Es besteht die Möglichkeit zur Übernachtung im hauseigenen Internat oder in einem naheliegenden Hotel. Bitte gebt bei der Anmeldung an, ob ihr vor Ort übernachten wollt.

Open Farming Hackdays 3-4. September 2021
Agriculture is in a state of upheaval and faces major challenges. On the one hand, the demands on product quality, resource use and environmental protection have risen massively. This is happening at a time when product prices are falling. On the other hand, new pests and diseases are constantly finding their way into Switzerland, requiring the use of plant protection products and thus causing high costs. In addition, climate change demands a rethink in land management. Digitalisation promises many solutions and innovations, for example in order to use plant protection products in a more targeted manner. But other key topics are also emerging, such as the fight against rising production costs, better cost awareness, marketing in the age of social media and the use of blockchain technology.
Hackdays are being organised for the second time for the business sector of agriculture in the canton of Aargau. At the Open Farming Hackdays, creative ideas and prototypes are to be developed on the basis of open agricultural data (Open Farming Data) in order to support the ecological intensification of agriculture targeted by the federal government. In the future, producers will receive data-based applications and tools that will enable them to farm more efficiently and sustainably.

The Open Farming Hackdays will take place at the Liebegg Agricultural Centre in Gränichen. There is the possibility to stay overnight in the in-house boarding school or in a nearby hotel. Please indicate when registering whether you would like to stay overnight on site.
